Director General

Antimonov is responsible for general management, marketing, and public relations of DialogueScience.

He was born August 28, 1945, in the town of Yablonetz am Nissa, Czechoslovakia. Antimonov graduated from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 1968. Ph.D. in physics and mathematics.

From 1975 to 1989, Antimonov was a researcher at the Computer Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (CCAS) and a lector at MIPT.

He started his commercial career in 1987-1989 as the Chairman of the co-operative "Implementation Centre under the CCAS" involved in the distribution of scientific computer software.

In early 1990s, Antimonov was the Director of the Scientific Centre of Russian-American JV "Dialogue" under the CCAS.

Since 1992, he has been General Director of DialogueScience, Inc.

Antimonov concentrated his efforts on organizing the development, distribution and support of antivirus software, as well as antivirus emergency and preventive services.

As he believes, his major business achievement was creating a team of professionals whose talent gave birth to a unique antivirus software kit, DSAV (DialogueScience's Anti-Virus kit) that included Doctor Web (a new generation antivirus scanner), SpIDer Guard (resident sentry), ADinf (integrity checker), ADinf Cure Module (universal virus cleaner), Virus Hunter (antivirus scanner), and Sheriff (hard&software security system). Antimonov can also be proud of organizing a viable system of electronic distribution and support of these products. DialogueScience antivirus software helped overcome the epidemics of insidious viruses, DIR-2 in 1991, OneHalf in 1995 and Win95.CIH ("Chernobyl") in 1999. Now DialogueScience products protect millions of computers in Russia and other countries.
