New Doctor Web antivirus program family for various platforms

On October 23, 1998 together with the new Doctor Web 4.03 commercial version DialogueScience, Inc released also new Doctor Web program family for various 32-bit platforms. Yet a set of beta-versions, having also number 4.03/ beta, the family will be released as full-function version already this year after obtaining test results. DrWeb32 family includes: We would like to remind that for Windows 95/98/NT Doctor Web program existed starting from the 4.01/beta version. It was this version to participate antivirus scanner for Windows NT test run by Virus Bulletin (Great Britain), an international magazine, in July 1998. It showed an excellent result for a beginner having taken the 3rd place by the average rate (see our press-release # 23 of September 03, 98).

All DrWeb32 family programs imply one and the same module principle:

All DrWeb32 family programs support common command line option set. Windows version with window interface allows to set the program and choose check objects in a simple graphic way. There is automatic mechanism of virus database updating via the Internet realised in the program. Server version for Novell NetWare allows to schedule server volume checking, in-coming and outgoing from the server file checking. The program can be run from the server console, also from a distant one.

All DrWeb32 family programs are available for anyone in the Internet, on the BBS station or in DialogueScience's office. We invite you to participate in their testing. Your wishes and comments will be taken into consideration when developing commercial version. The most active beta-testers will get a free commercial version!
