DSAVmail Checker (for MS Exchange and MS Outlook)

Design functionality. Nowadays the major headache that PC users have is macroviruses, with email being the main channel of infection. To prevent viruses from penetrating via email, DialogueScience, Inc. released a new antivirus program DSAVmail Checker that intercepts email messages incoming via Microsoft mail system and invokes the scanner Doctor Web to check the mail for virus infection. Thus, owners of Doctor Web are now safeguarded against viruses in their email.

DSAVmail requires:

• Windows 95 or Windows 98, Windows NT;

• MS Exchange or MS Outlook (but not Outlook Express) of any versions;
  DSAVmail can be installed to work with Outlook 98 only if "Corporate or Workgroup E-mail Service" has been installed. Use "Help/About" menu option to verify configuration of your Outlook 98. Second line from the top of the window should read "Corporate or Workgroup".

• Doctor Web, version 4.0 or above (you are recommended to subscribe for receiving a new versions of DrWeb by e-mail or from www-site).

As a safety measure, you may redirect all messages containing infected and suspected attachments to special folders and, instead, receive in the Inbox folder DSAVmail Checker's notices with the scan report and original message without infected attachments. DSAVmail Checker can also remove infected and suspected attachments from the incoming mail or, if possible, cure such attachments.

You may easy uninstall the program.

The program is distributed free for individual use only. You should have a license to use DSAVmail in commercial or governmental organizations.
